SMYRNA (IZMIR ) TOUR
This is a full-day guided tour of the city of Izmir, the third largest city of Turkey. You will visit the Castle of Alexander the Great dating back to the 4th century built on Pagos Hill which gives a panoramic view of the city. The Agora of Smyrna is well preserved and is now the Agora Open-Air Museum of Izmir which houses finds from Smyrna and Ephesus. You will see the beautiful marble Clock Tower in the centre of Konak with four fountains arranged in a circle. It was designed in 1901 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the ascension of Abdulhamid ll to the Ottoman throne and is the symbol of Izmir. You will visit Kemeralti, the Bazaar set up by the Ottomans.
Moreover you visit the Konak Pier , Dario Moreno House and historical Elevator (Turkish for ‘’Asansör’’) .
End of the day you’ll drive back to the hotel or Pier in İzmir

• There is no shop visit and shopping in the content of the tour.If the whole group demands and confirm and there is enough time ,the shop can be visited
• Comfortable walking shoes, comfortable clothing, a hat, sunscreen and insect repellents are recommended. Guests should watch their step at all times in order to avoid accidents.
• Guests must be able to walk approximately 0.5 miles over uneven and cobblestone surfaces in ruins.
• Temperatures can reach extreme highs during summer months; We recommend that you have a lot of water and use suitable sunscream while on the tour.
