FİRST DAY : After Breakfast our guide will take away you from hotel .
You'll drive first to the ancient city of Sardis or which is called Sardis by Lydians .The focus of this tour is on Sardis, the capital of ancient Lydlia, where one of the churches of St. John existed. Tour the ruins of the temples of Cybele and Diana where a fourth century Basilica was later added. See the golden river Pactalos and the Royal Road. Visit the reconstructed synagogue and gymnasium
Then you’ll drive to the Ancient Philadelphia, it was built in 189 BC by King Eumenes II of Pergamon. The remains of the 600 AD Byzantine basilica of St. John are considered to be the main archaeological attraction in the modern city. In early Christian times, Philadelphia was home to a significant Christian church, mentioned as one of the seven Churches of the Book of Revelation.
You will have Lunch at the local restaurant (EXTRA)After the visit of Philadelphia you’ll arrive to the thermal hotel in Pamukkale (dinner at the hotel )
2nd Day :
You’ll visit second day the ancient city of Hierapolis in Pamukkale.After breakfast at your hotel, you will have a chance to visit Pamukkale. This uniquely beautiful and spectacular natural site will make you feel like youire in a fairytale with the dazzling white petrified cascades surrounding thermal spring water laden with carbonate minerals. The cascades plunging down the mountainside have created this natural formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins. The thermal water has been used since the Roman period for its therapeutic powers. You will visit the Roman city of Hieropolis. In Hieropolis you will see the Temples of Apollo and Delphi, a 4th Century Basilica called Monumental Nympheum, and the Theatre.
After visiting the well-preserved Necropolis, and enjoying a delicious lunch, you will visit the ancient city of driving to Laodikeia.Laodikeia is an ancient city located in the Lycus River Valley of Anatolia, near Hierapolis in Denizli province. It is one of the largest and most important archaeological sites in Turkey. Laodikeia is the home of unique and magnificent structures dating from the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and Early Byzantine Periods. The area of the city covers more than five square km.
